The Scottish Executive recognises that churches, faith groups, charitable and voluntary organisations all have an important role to play in a modern multi-faith Scotland. Intra-Christian partnership working, encouraging dialogue and the building of links between communities are also key to tackling sectarianism.
A range of events, working groups and networks have been established to further anti-sectarian work among communities, young people and faith groups and open up dialogue between communities, local government and the Scottish Executive.
