The Scottish Executive recognise that sectarian attitudes and behaviour exist in all areas of Scottish life. To meet the challenge of an issue that cuts across all areas of society, two Groups were established to take a broad look at taking the Executive's anti-sectarian work forward.

A Ministerial Tackling Sectarianism Delivery Group provides a clear policy steer and ensures a joined-up approach is being taken by the Scottish Executive in its work. In addition to this group, a Task Group on Tackling Sectarianism has been established that feeds into the work of Ministers.
